The rising junior big man has good movement around the basket and the ability to change a game on both ends of the floor. Still maturing, Guanipa is a member of the Venezuelan 17 & under National Team. Has the ability to stroke it from three in a pinch.

Heberto joined the Tropics through its Patterson School (NC) connection, where standout Freddy Asprilla played his final year in 2008. He has since moved to New Jersey and will play at St. Augustine Prep in Richland.
